Program Details

Buena Vida uses the evidence base curriculum Too Good for Drugs. The curriculum and is approved by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
The goal of this program is to promote healthy choices and prevent alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (ATOD) experimentation and use. It includes lessons on topics such as goal setting, decision making, and peer pressure. Information about tobacco and alcohol is also included.
Adelante is committed to helping adolescents, parents, educators, and community members understand that while teen substance use and addiction is America’s number one public health problem, adolescent substance use is a preventable public health problem and addiction is a treatable disease.

Program Description

Los Niños using the “Life Skills” which is an evidence-based curriculum and is approved by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). This curriculum has been tested for effectiveness, and proven to show results. Lessons are interactive, allowing students the chance to participate and have fun while they learn important skills.
